D.C.’s fashionistas stepped out at the National Museum of Women in the Arts for the second District of Fashion Runway Show. The DowntownDC Business Improvement District’s show was held in partnership with the city’s Commission on Fashion and Arts Events and 202Creates.
Designers Amanda Casarez; Andrew Nowell Menswear; Brittany Christina Collection; Dara Oji Collections with 2Heads by Atsu; Lorra Rivers; Love Soul Style; Peruvian Connection; PlanetTogs; Shafei Han; Tout Sur LeCuir; Tori Soudan; and Victim 15 showcased designs from their Fall/Winter 2019 collections.
This year’s event helped promote the local fashion economy.
Stylish guests came out to support the show.
TV and lifestyle personality Paul Wharton returned to host the fashion show for the second time. The weeknight event served as a tribute to New York Fashion Week.
