Vegetarian's Delight

By CouncilMag.com

Fancy Radish, one of the newest additions to D.C.’s vegetarian scene, sits along the hip H Street corridor in Northeast.

The brainchild of James Beard-nominated chefs Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby, Fancy Radish recently landed as No. 2 on Tom Sietsema’s list of the best new restaurants of 2018.

This year, Landau earned his James Beard nomination in the Best Chef Mid-Atlantic category for Vedge, one of the couple’s Philadelphia restaurants. At Fancy Radish, dinner is served six nights a week with the menu changing seasonally. The restaurant says brunch is coming soon. Have a yearning for a hearty dish? Consider miso butter noodles. Cold or hot, there’s a dish for you.
